Lauren Hyman Kaplan

Lauren Hyman Kaplan, MA, is a consultant and school counselor in the field of social emotional learning, emotional intelligence, and violence prevention. She holds a Masters Degree in Counseling and Guidance from NYU and is the co-author of the “Interpersonal Violence Prevention Resource Guide for Parents and Educators” (New York State Department of Education, 2002). She has taught Kindergarten and has trained administrators, counselors, teachers and parents at public and private schools around the United States and the world. Mrs. Kaplan holds an MA in counseling from NYU and a BA in Psychology from Emory University.
