Chuck Maiden is an experienced primetime BG painter, layout artist, BG designer and color stylist. He is well versed in Photoshop and also has experience with Painter and SketchUp. He has also been traditionally trained in background painting by Disney’s Serge Michaels and in background design by Gary Mouri.

His most recent project include working on American Dad! at Fox Television Animation, as a Color Stylist for backgrounds, characters, props and FX. He also worked on The Super Hero Squad Show at Film Roman as a Color Stylist.

He also worked for a long time on King of the Hill at Film Roman, as a Background Painter, Layout artist and Background Layout Supervisor the last season. And acted as lead SketchUp Artist for Background Layout. Painted with traditional water colors and then transitioned to Photoshop.
