A Day in the Life: A day in my life is way too crazy and complicated to communicate in this space, but let's just say it involves one husband, four kids, three freelance careers, several volunteer projects and many dear friends.

Preferred S Song: My taste in music is eclectic, from hip-hop (I am a hip-hop dance teacher) to classical (I'm also a classical pianist), from alternative and rock to R&B. I particularly love S'ing to Wild Horses by the Rolling Stones, I'm On Fire by Bat for Lashes, Song to the Siren by Robert Plant, Glitter in the Air by Pink, Haunt Me by Sade and The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly) by Missy Elliot.

Teaching Style: A combination of nurturing and challenging, tuning into what each student needs at any given time. I pay plenty of attention to pole (love those tricks!) but, ultimately, a student’s comfort with the pole is just one element of her journey to authentic, sensual movement. I’m high energy, obsessed with creating great music playlists for class, and I give lots of feedback!

Personality: Passionate, bold, caring, giving, warm. I’m devoted fully to things I love (such as teaching and my students).

Reason for Teaching: To inspire and empower women through dance.

Can't Live Without: The love of my wonderful husband and kids, music, sex and sunshine.
