Jack Nelson

Teaches at New York Open Center

A native Upstate New Yorker, he received his Bachelor’s in Philosophy at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY, and started working at Colgate University in 2016 as an Assistant Director of Residential Life. For the past two years he has helped his community foster an inclusive campus environment where students can flourish in their pursuit of a college degree. 

When not in the Adirondack Mountains or swimming in New York State’s many lakes with his greyhound, Sammie, Jack is making ceramics, reading a new book, or playing a board game with friends. California is calling, however, and Jack can’t help but answer this new opportunity to serve as an EDMO Camp Director.
