Deanna Saunders

Teaches at Veritas Prep

Deanna Saunders, a Brown University graduate with a degree in Psychology, has always been passionate about education. In college, she was a Head Writing Fellow, tutoring Brown graduates and undergraduates in essay writing. She also facilitated creative workshops in a Rhode Island prison. After graduating, Deanna taught high school math as a Miami Teach For America corps member. She's been involved with education in Miami ever since; these days, she's "so Miami" she gets cold when the temperature drops below 75 degrees! Deanna loves breaking down difficult concepts and making them easy. She believes that any student can master the SAT, and approaches tutoring with enthusiasm, dedication, and kindness.
