Frederick Brosen

Teaches at Museum of the City of New York - Public

Frederick Brosen’s watercolors have been the subject of over 30 solo museum and gallery exhibitions across the country and internationally (including at the Museum of the City of New York), and his work is represented in over a dozen permanent museum collections. He has been teaching watercolor and drawing for over 30 years at several major art schools, including Pratt Institute, the National Academy of Design, and most recently the Art Students League, where he continues to teach.
As a lifelong painter and student of New York City’s architectural history, Brosen provides an informative and relaxed workshop experience that is both edifying and fun.
