Description
What you'll learn in this fashion class:
What is the future of fashion design? This course teaches students the essential techniques of being a wearable tech designer, from concept to drafting patterns, engineering and soldering, constructing and sewing all while exploring sustainability. No prior experience is necessary.
- 3 workshops — Students will explore the essential disciplines for designing wearable technology: conceptual design, engineering, construction and sustainability. Each workshop is 3 hours long.
- Students will explore the actual techniques used by wearable tech designers and develop ways to apply these techniques to solving real-world problems.
- By the final workshop students will take home a messenger bag with a solar-powered USB charger that they have designed and constructed themselves.
Refund Policy
- Cancellations or rescheduling requests 7 business days or more prior to start of a workshop can receive a 95% refund (less one time enrollment fee) or full credit towards a future workshop.
- Cancellations or rescheduling requests between 7-3 business days prior to start of a workshop will receive a credit of 50% towards a future workshop.
- Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 3 business days prior to start of a workshop will not receive any refund or credit.
All cancellation/rescheduling requests should be sent directly to [email protected]
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
