What you'll learn in this kids sewing class:
MAKE IT! Studio is a hands-on sewing (both hand and machine) and craft studio with a maximum of 8 or 9 students at a time.
Our camps are a full day of fun with Sewing and Crafts! Using sewing machines (no machine experience necessary), craft glue and all sorts of fun tools your child will MAKE a few items that they will be proud of! We still limit our camps and classes to 8 kids, so they can get the proper attention they need. We want your child to feel confident and to finish the day having not only learned how to engineer and make things from start to finish but to have a blast doing it!
We will take an hour break for lunch, plus a couple of quick breaks to unwind. Lunch will either be outside in the playground or socially distanced indoors if it rains. Please make sure they have with them a packed lunch and a water bottle.
Please Note:
- We recently revised our vaccine policy and ALL students must be vaccinated to participate in all our camps and classes.
- Most of the classes whether they are after school or Camp children can wear what they like. I will let parents know ahead of time if we plan to go in the sprinkler at lunch and they need to bring in their bathing suits.
- They should bring their own lunch and a bottle of water. We will supply the snacks. If their child has any special food restrictions then the parent should supply their child's snack as well.

Refund Policy
In the event a student must cancel a class registration, MAKE IT Studio must be notified either in-person or in writing for the student to be eligible for a refund of class fees. If notice of cancellation is provided seven (7) or more days prior to the start of the class, the student will be refunded 100% of their class fees. If notice of cancellation is provided four (4) to six (6) days prior to the start of the class, the student will be refunded 50% of their class fees. If less than 4 days notice of cancellation is given, no class fees will be refunded to the student without exception. Refunds are made in the form of the original payment.
Paid classes are redeemable only for the scheduled session(s) of the class for which you are registered and are not transferable.
Students who fail to show up for a class forfeit any right to a refund or exchange. There are no make-ups for missed classes. This policy is to ensure that the instructors are compensated for their time and other students waiting for spots in full classes are not missing class opportunities due to late cancellations or no shows.
