Welcome to the best artsy vacation camp for kids in New York City! If you’re looking for something FUN and creative for kids during vacation week, look no further! Every day during February school vacation week in NYC, budding artists will have a blast as they create two unique art projects to feel proud of. With a warm and engaging professional artist educator as their guide, kids will learn new artistic techniques while feeling inspired to express themselves freely.
Join our art studio just for the day or come all week long, no art projects are repeated! Have your child come with friends, siblings or alone to make new friends. Kids will create beautiful works of art in a variety of art materials, including acrylic paints, watercolor paints, color pastels, drawing and sketching, and more. In this not-to-be-missed “summer camp style” vacation program of art, friendship and FUN, kids will:
Explore and learn new drawing, painting, and mixed-media art techniques while creatively tapping into their unique self-expression
Have fun and socialize with old and new friends while tapping into the freedom, joy and wellbeing benefits of creativity, color and imagination
Enjoy tailor-made, encouraging and non-judgmental one-on-one art instruction from our New York City professional artists and art educators while creating artwork with acrylic and watercolor paints, pastels, colored pencils, collage, mixed-media and more
Learn artistic techniques such as blending, shading, perspective, 3D effect, layering, color mixing, manga, and more!
Learn how to draw, paint, and create artwork inspired by famous artists
Receive the lasting benefits of art classes proven by science, including increased communication skills, enhanced relaxation, greater focus, increased self-esteem, boosted social skills and heightened academic success
All art supplies are included. Please send a nut-free daily snack for your child, we will have water available. Not eligible for vouchers/coupons.
Art Class Materials:
Class tuition is neither non-refundable nor transferable. No refunds will be issued after registration and payment. In case of a Medically Certified illness, a credit will be issued after receipt of your physician’s documentation. The value of the credit will be for the balance of the remaining class sessions with an additional deduction of a $95 registration fee. Credit may be used up to 12 months.
If after your first class you are dissatisfied with the quality of your course, a written note must be submitted within 1 business day after your first class. After receiving your note, refund of class tuition will be reviewed by our staff. If a refund is granted, processing of refunds requires 8-10 weeks. A 5% nonrefundable processing fee will be applied.
Course Cancellations
Although course cancellation is quite rare, The school reserves the right to cancel classes or change instructor assignments and makes every effort to notify students in advance. If enrollment goals are not met, a course may be canceled up to 1 business day before the first scheduled class. In the event of cancellation, a refund or credit is granted. On occasion, a course start-date will be pushed back if enrollment goals are not met. In this instance, you will receive a credit for the price of the class that did not take place.
Please note that there will be NO exceptions to this under any circumstances.
Make-up Policy
Unfortunately, The school does not offer any makeups for classes missed. However, if the student wants to get the most from the course and the absence, they can tell the instructor when they will be absent and the instructor can provide some guidance on exercises to practice while away.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
