System Requirements:

You will need a reliable Internet connection as well as a computer or device with which you can access your virtual class. We recommend you arrive to class 5-10 minutes early to ensure you're able to set up your device and connection.

Class Delivery:

This class will be held via Zoom unless otherwise specified.

What you'll learn in this kids sewing class:

Have you already taken our kids' summer camp or our kids' after school? Want to join for another class but want new projects?! This is it! Take your sewing to the next level with the Advanced Level Sewing & Fashion Camp! We update projects every session so you won't be learning the same things or projects again!

Fabric and Supplies:

All supplies for projects will be included and shipped upon enrollment.
In addition, students will need:

a sewing machine
thread
scissors
pins
ruler
colored pencils
mechanical pencil
magazines that can be cut and used for mood boards and poster board

New projects for each weekly camp so you can register for multiple weeks! We focus on fashion sketching, design and sewing clothing and accessories on trend for the summer!

Course Duration: 5 days; classes will be broken up into 3 sections. 10-11am sewing, 11am-12pm fashion sketching and mood boards, 12-1pm lunch break while viewing a runway show during lunch (link provided). 1-2pm hand embroidery class. Classes will be recorded in case you miss a class or need to rewatch a project so you can finish on your own. You can request the recording each day after classes if you need to watch again.

Prerequisite: Virtual Fashion Camp, Kids after school or equal experience

Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Refund Policy

You must give at least 4 business days notice to cancel your enrollment in the class, for a refund less a 5% cancellation fee.
Once the class has started, we can no longer offer refunds.
