St Giles San Francisco offers the universally recognized Cambridge CELTA, an initial TEFL qualification designed for individuals with little or no prior experience of teaching English. This qualification will not only give you the confidence to teach in front of a class of people, but will also allow you to take advantage of wide-ranging opportunities to live and work anywhere around the world. The intensive course lasts for four weeks and combines theory and practice.

The Cambridge CELTA is also available as an online/blended learning course. This option is ideal for trainees with full-time jobs which don’t allow time for intensive study. Lasting for 17 weeks, this course is a combination of collaborative online study and face-to-face teaching practice, giving trainees the opportunity to work flexibly and fit the course around their busy schedules.
