Give as a Gift Book as Private EventAn intro to fondant, you'll learn how to properly crumb coat a cake, and then cover it with fondant to get that smooth, professional looking finish. This class will also cover an overview of how to make different variations of bows to top your cake. At the end of the class, each student will have their very own bow cake to take home.
Tools and Skills Covered: Decorating techniques that will be covered in this class include crumb coating a cake, covering a cake in fondant, and creating a fondant bow and ribbon.
Each student will be provided with a 5” cake that they will ice and decorate using fondant in the class. Students will create their own fondant covered bow cakes using the techniques that are covered within the class.

NY Cake Academy classes are not eligible for refunds, however they are transferable. Students reserve the right to reschedule their class to an alternative date or time up until 7 days prior to the class date.
You may choose to give your place in class to another student. Please let us know in advance so we can have our paperwork in order. Class time may not be split up though. The same student will be enrolled in all days of a multi-day class.
All deposits & fees are forfeited for no shows.
Class Policies:
Classes will begin on time so please be sure to allow enough time to arrive and prepare prior to the start of the class. The studio will be open to students 15 minutes prior to beginning of class to allow for set up. Classes occasionally run over time, please let the instructor know if you need to leave early or immediately at the end of class so they can plan for it.
We do not provide make-up classes.
