What you'll learn in this cheese making class:

Mild and milky, smooth and silky: any way you stretch it, we love fresh mozzarella! In this class, we'll teach you the ways of creating your own mozzarella balls from curd.

First, we'll taste several samples of fresh pasta filata (pulled curd) style cheeses (think Mozzarella, Bufala, Burrata, oh my!). Then we'll all roll up our sleeves to turn curds into the beautiful balls that we know as fresh mozzarella. Enjoy generous pours of our house wines, and bring home your own mozzarella masterpiece.

Mozzarella Making is for ages 16 and up. Notification ahead of time for a person under 21 years of age is required for appropriate setup on our end. Non-alcoholic beverages are available in substitution of house wines.

We are super excited to welcome you back inside of our classrooms to engage once again in cheesy learning! We’ll be starting small with a few classes a week and building back up to our regularly scheduled programming over the coming months. In the meantime we are taking safety precautions to allow for a safe reentry. Masking is not required, however strongly encouraged.

The instructor and facilities were good. The class was fun with an intro to cheese. The mozzarella making part was easy and results were good. Overall, it was a good class but two issues: they didn't show you how to make the curds, which is the most important part of the process (and the only place they recommended to buy them was in PA). And, the course was very expensive for what you got.
