Teaches at Yoga Everyone

Shauna’s yoga practice began in the late 1990’s simply as a physical exercise to undo years of damage to her body caused by competitive running. It didn’t take long after beginning a regular practice that she was compelled to further study the spiritual path of yoga and she strives to bring positivity and light to all situations. Shauna received her 200hr yoga training at YogaWorks under the guidance of Heather Seiniger and Billy Asad, as well as a Miniyogis childrens’ yoga training with Shana Meyerson, She then implemented a yoga program at the elementary school she works as a sixth grade teacher, including an elective period during school, after school yoga clubs for kids as well as an after school yoga class for teachers. Since retiring from the elementary school and becoming a full time yoga teacher, Shauna takes every opportunity to share her love of yoga with others. When not teaching or practicing yoga or meditating, Shauna is taking care of her two amazing kids, horse and dogs, out running or hiking, or sipping a great glass of vino with the love of her life, Mike, on the porch of their home in Simi Valley.
