Teaches at Awesome Acting Club
Amber Bohac
Amber is still a kid at heart even after coaching for 8 years in the LA market & helping performers grow into their personalities for the past 15. This allows her to relate to her students on a more personal level while having fun right along with them! When she was 3 years old she watched her older brother perform at a local Playhouse & quickly decided she belonged on the stage too. Being "too young" to take acting classes locally, her (awesome;)) parents were supportive of her endless energy and enrolled her in dance, gymnastics, swim team, singing lessons, karate and more. By age 7 she joined the cast of multiple Musical Theater Productions performing in one of the Original Warner Brothers Theaters and continued to do so for the next 10 years until she moved to LA. She signed with an agent her first week in town and soon after was booked to throw knives on the Tonight Show. Remember how her parents were awesome? Her father happened to be a Grandmaster of Goshin Jitsu Karate and taught her discipline and mediation from a young age, while her Libra mother instilled peaceful views of spreading kindness, joy, & keeping everything balanced. In addition to acting Amber understands the business side of the industry as well being a digital studio executive, on set coach, and stunt woman herself.
Over 100 success stories later and she still can’t help but get a warm fuzzy feeling when she sees clients on their way to success :)
She’s coached kids that have gone on to star opposite many Hollywood’s Oscar winning A-lister’s. Amber has coached her students to book their 1st credit on networks such as Nickelodeon, Disney, NBC, ABC, Freeform, CBS, etc. as well as many commercials for notable brands.
A working actor since he was ten years old, David was already a seasoned veteran of community theater and independent film – over twenty productions - when he arrived in Los Angeles to attend Loyola Marymount University in the fall of 2018. While earning his degree there (B.A.- Theater, Class of 2022), he had the good fortune to study with an impressive array of industry professionals, including Colin Hanks and Busy Phillips. Graduating with honors, he then traveled to Europe, where he added to his expanding dramatic repertoire a newfound appreciation for movement and voice, subjects he studied in Germany under a visiting professor from the Moscow Art Theater.
David Fabian
It was during this period in Europe that David discovered he had a genuine passion for teaching acting. Already a sought-after tutor in the subjects of English and math, he realized he could employ these same proven techniques to instruct students - of all ages - in the many disciplines of theater, and impart to them the knowledge and information so many noteworthy instructors had bestowed upon him. During his time at LMU, David directed a variety of scenes – for both camera and stage – and even began screenwriting; the natural next step in this talented young man’s multi-faceted career. That ability, coupled with a vast storehouse of knowledge and expertise that belies his age, David Fabian is honored to teach and work with other aspiring actors to see that they, too, reach their full potential.
