O'Dell Howard, beginning his career in entertainment During the early 90s, Frank O’dell Howard Was born Los Angeles CA. He was the fourth born of five children to musician Frank Oscar Howard and nurse Ruth Howard. During the mid 70s, O’dell would experienced his first blow when his mother and father seperated. The early 80s would also present challenging times for him after being placed in several foster homes. Eventually O’dell moved to Hollywood CA where he attended high school at Hollywood High Performing Arts. While there he caught the dancing, singing, and acting bug while appearing in student drama productions. During the late 80s, he caught his first break dancing for “at the time” Singer Carmen Elektra and Prince. With his dancing, singing, and acting versatility and powerful stage presence, he Had no difficulty finding work in numerous commercials such as Pepsi, 7UP, MCI and Chevrolet. He made his first big screen appearance in Sister Act 2 with Whoppi Goldberg and Lauren Hill. Throughout the 90s, he worked in both movies and television shows such as Clockstoppers, Congo, and Beverly Hills 90210. Finding it difficult to sustain consistent work, O’dell decided to go back to his first love of dancing. Soon after, he worked in numerous music videos, World Tours, and live performances with industry greats such as Usher, P-Diddy, Missy Elliott, Backstreet Boyz, N’Sync, Sisqo, Destiny’s Child, Prince, Carmen Elektra, Dru Hill, Will Smith’s Men In Black, Tony Braxton, Joe, Mary Mary and TYRESE. Musically O’dell Howard has sung background for Tyrese and an unrealesed song for Whitney Houston. Physically, he has an edgy, no-nonsense look.
