Joanna Vargas lovingly provides fitness workouts that help you tap into your personal power. With over 15 years of fitness instruction experience -coupled with a disciplined and positive approach- Joanna specializes in personal fitness training and group exercise. She has taught fitness to hundreds of students in numerous gyms throughout southern California. She is certified in group training and personal fitness by both the National Academy of Sports Medicine and Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. Joanna has 30 years experience in dance choreography and training. She studied dance at Cal State University Long Beach and University of California Santa Barbara. In 2005, she created Streetease Fitness and Dance as well as Street Sculpt Barre Pilates. Joanna uses her wide range of experience in group exercise and dance to teach the fundamentals of fitness and movement. She helps leverage your natural abilities while building your physical and mental strength. Joanna pushes her students to their personal best, and if you’re not breaking a sweat then you’re not having a good time.
