Understanding the regions and categories of Italian Wine can be complicated. With extensive wine production in all 20 wine regions, hundreds of indigenous varietals, climates ranging from Alpine to Mediterranean and diverse soil types, Italian wine study can be daunting.
It is critical for a CSW to have extensive knowledge to understand, appreciate, and communicate the complexity of Italy. We'll explore Piedmont, Tuscany, Veneto and much more.
This workshop is part of the Certified Specialist of Wine program. As part of this workshop, you'll taste 6-8 wines related to the curriculum.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
