Tamales are filled and hand-wrapped gifts of masa deliciousness. Discover what makes these Mexican delicacies so special as you fill and wrap (surprisingly easily!) your own hand-formed bites of wonder, and top them with handmade salsa verde.
This live-streaming class can be booked as a one-on-one or group class for 2 to 12 people.
Let me show you just how fun and easy making tamales and salsa by hand can be. You’ll be guided step-by-step through softening the corn husks, prepping your fillings, preparing your masa, and forming and filling, and wrapping your tamales. As you put them on the stove to steam, we’ll make a fresh salsa to enjoy with your warm tamales. At the end of this class, you’ll have fresh salsa and a dozen steamed-to-perfection tamales to enjoy!
The recipe and a list of ingredients and supplies will be sent after booking.
Vegetarian, vegan, plant-based, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets are accommodated.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
