Tanya Nuchols

Teaches at Joy of Motion Dance Center

Tanya Nuchols packs a ton of fun into her Zumba® classes and has been teaching all over the DMV area for several years. Trained in Classical and Filipino styles, Tanya is also drawn to Latin, Brazilian, Caribbean, and Middle Eastern rhythms. Tanya became hooked on Zumba® while losing 50 mama pounds, dancing to salsa, samba, merengue, hip hop, and much more. Tanya is active in the community, volunteering to teach Zumba® classes and performances for various local causes, including the H Street Festival and the Capitol Pride Parade. Tanya continues to study styles from all over the world, and is currently working toward her yoga teachers’ certification.
