Ghita von Bonsdorff

Teaches at Joy of Motion Dance Center

Ghita von Bonsdorff found her passion for Latin dances in Finland, where she lived until 2008. She attended several dance schools in Helsinki and performed with salsa, merengue, bachata, and, reggaeton groups. Upon moving to the DMV area, Ghita wanted to keep up the dancing and joined a Rueda de Casino group as well as Tanya Nuchols’ inspiring Zumba® classes at JOMDC. Ghita earned her own Zumba® certification in 2012 and recently certified in Zoca®. Ghita teaches many dance fitness classes throughout the region including: Zumba®, Zumba Gold®, Zoca® , Zoca Smooth®, and Body Tone®.
