Complete Title: FAC-P/PM Certification: Applications in Project and Program Management Training Course (FPM 231)

Successful government program managers are adept at developing a plan for total project life cycle system management - an Integrated Master Plan. In this FAC-P/PM project management certification course, you gain knowledge in managing complex programs, software engineering principles, requirements development, management and traceability methods, testing and system validation processes.

Learning Tree’s FAC-P/PM training has been fully verified by the Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI).

You Will Learn How To:
  • Plan for the successful delivery of a complex government project
  • Define the requirements and manage the development of IT systems
  • Create a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and a plan for total life cycle system management - an Integrated Master Plan (IMP)
  • Develop a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) estimate
  • Apply a process to identify, analyze and manage threats and opportunities
Requirements: Two years of program or project management experience within the last five years.

FAC-P/PM Certification Information:
  • All Federal employees (non DoD) who work in a Program/Project Management role are required to be FAC-P/PM certified. Private industry/contractors are eligible to attend FAC-P/PM training, but are not eligible to become certified.
  • FAC-P/PM certification is awarded at the agency level and requirements vary by agency. Check with your Acquisition Career Manager (ACM) for information on certification requirements.

Refund Policy
If a customer would like to cancel or transfer their course, they must notify Coursehorse prior to two weeks before the start date of the course or within seven days of registration. On-Demand Courses cannot be cancelled once purchased and are not eligible for refund.

If a customer transfers to another course prior to two weeks before the start date or within seven days of registration of the course in which originally enrolled, 100% of any prepaid course tuition will be applied toward the course tuition for the subsequent course.

If a customer needs to cancel an enrollment two weeks prior to the start of the class or within seven days of registration, we will refund 100% of any prepaid course tuition for that enrollment.

If a customer does need to transfer or cancel a course within two weeks of the start date of the course or after seven days from the date of registration, a fee equal to 50% of the price of the course will be assessed for any standard attendances. Attendances associated with a Learning Tree program will be assessed a $500 fee. Training Passports, Training Vouchers and Pay-As-You-Learn Vouchers cannot be used after their expiration dates, and a course cancellation or transfer by the customer will not extend a Training Passport, Training Voucher Pack or Pay-As-You-Learn Voucher Pack expiration date.
