What you'll learn in this soap making class:

In this live, virtual workshop, you will learn the basics of melt and pour soap making, general techniques, and even a little history. We'll go through the use and benefits of the ingredients and learn about different recipes that students can use at home or give as gifts. This workshop is suited for our DIY Soap-Making Kit, linked below.

After registering for the class, please purchase the soap-making kit and other required materials.

Access to the live, virtual workshop will be sent 24-48 hours before class time via email.

Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Will we learn how to mix the lye and oils to make the soap?

Hi there. As mentioned in the course description, this is a melt & pour soap workshop. The soap base is already prepared which means you will not need to mix lye and oils.

We enjoyed this class with Rebecca. It was easy to follow and fun to make our own soap designs with the botanicals, colors, and fragrance we had chosen. We bought the kit ahead of time and that came with everything needed for the class. We would buy refills and do it again. The soaps can make nice gifts for others, and it’s nice to have a practical item you can use at the end of the class.

Great class- lots of fun!

The class was great. I am now a fan of making my own bath soap. It is a nice hobby to have since we really can’t go anywhere. My only problem which it’s my fault I could not get the instructors attention, I was having problems at my end with my microphone and typed in a few questions but the instructor didn’t respond to the questions. Towards the end my husband fixed my problem and I was able to ask questions. I would take the class again with the same instructor and I would take another class with the same instructor.
