This 5-Day Intensive Workshop will give filmmaking students the tools and information to excel at each stage of the filmmaking process. Students will learn from the process of producing your own projects and master every aspect of the filmmaking process. Students will rotate among crew positions and learn how to write, direct, shoot and edit a one-minute scene. This scene will be a pitch for a feature film or TV series.
In day one and two, students will develop their scripts and plan their shoots. In day three, students will film their movies and rotates among crew positions. In day four students will edit their movies and screen them at the end of day five.Topics to be covered during the Workshop:

Course OutlineDay One: Script Writing
Students will develop their one-page scripts and write treatments of their projects. Students will be instructed in story structure, dramatic arc, creating characters, text and subtext, refining stories, and scriptwriting style. Students pitch their projects in front of his or her instructor and crew.Day Two: Planning and Rehearsals
Students will rehearse their scenes with their cast and crew, work on script breakdown, shooting schedule, costumes, props and decisions. Students will take a quick introduction to directing, working with actors, camera and lighting techniques that would help them film successful scenes.Day Three: Filming
Students will work in groups, and rotate among crew positions to film their scenes.Day Four: Editing
Students will learn how to use the digital editing system, Adobe Premiere. Each student edits his or her own film. Students are taught the fundamental concepts of film editing, both practical and aesthetic.Day Five: Packaging and Screening
Students will learn few techniques in Photoshop to create a poster and printout their treatment and visual package. Students will add their IMDb credits, start social media pages and start promoting their concepts.FAQs

We offer high-end 4K camera gear and lighting equipment and we use Adobe Premiere to edit. Q: What Production recourses will be offered?
