Apartment Management- Part I
Live! Rent Free Become a property manager and enjoy the benefits that a career in the real estate industry has to offer you! This class will provide you the fundamentals of property management, topics to be covered: rent control legislation, renting and leasing contracts, application/credit, maintenance, security deposit, section 8, inventory list and more.

Apartment Management- Part II
Live! Rent Free Don’t put off your career as an apartment manager, join us to learn advertising techniques to promote the units; other topics to be covered: 24-hour notices and repairs, record keeping, rent increase, moving out and evictions. This class is a continuation of Part I.

Students should bring a notebook.

Refund Policy

We reserve the right to cancel any class offering if the minimum number of student enrollments necessary to support it is not achieved. You will be notified no less than the day prior to the start of the first session if an offering will be cancelled by Community Services and offered either a transfer of your fees to another class offering or a full refund.

There are no refunds after a class has begun. Student requested refunds must be made 48 hours before the class begins. There will be a $10 processing fee per class.

Note: Refunds are not issued for absences nor prorated for late registration. Missed class meetings may not be made up in another class.

The class was very informative and constructive. Great organization from the instructor. The class needs to be a little longer so that it allows for further detail, but it is a great introduction into property management.
