This exceptional course will teach you the business side of the beverage industry, in addition to the skills to become a bartender that managers want to hire.  This practical and effective method of instruction is sweeping the industry and updating old ways of thinking.  Professional bartending requires so much more than knowing how to put ice in a glass and adding the proper ingredients.  This class will prepare you to be a great sales person, a customer service expert and an honest and valuable employee, skills that will help you succeed in the real world of bartending and throughout life.

Refund Policy

Please choose your classes carefully. No refunds issued unless a class is cancelled by El Camino College. Electronic credit vouchers in the amount of the class registration fee less a $20 service fee per class will be issued upon requests received no later than 3 full business days before the first class meeting. Electronic credit vouchers are applicable toward a future Community Education class and are valid for 3 years. Special policy for excursions and special events: Refund requests for excursions and special events must be received no later than 2 weeks (10 full business days) before the scheduled excursion or event.

Requesting a transfer

To transfer to a different class date or course, requests must be received at least three full business days before the first class meeting. A $10 service fee per class will apply. Please call CourseHorse at 212.729.4088.

Manhattan Beach Blvd Modules is located on the northeast corner of campus by Crenshaw Blvd. and Manhattan Beach Blvd. Take the 405 (San Diego Freeway) south to the Redondo Beach Boulevard exit, make a left off the exit onto Redondo Beach Boulevard. The college is on the northwest corner of Redondo Beach and Crenshaw Boulevards (approximately 1.5 miles) Parking is $2 per day, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can buy a daily parking permit from a kiosk at the parking lot. Parking for students is available in Lots D (along soccer field side), F, L, K. Please adhere to posted signs in each parking lot.
