This class was so much fun! The instructor was sweet - very personable, funny, knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. It was great to have a hands on experience— reminded me of being a kid in school. And the materials were quality and there was quite a variety of them too. And… I made soap! I’m still kind of thrilled about the whole experience over 24 hours later. Can’t wait to use my new soap when it finishes curing!

The instructor was very nice and welcoming. The class was easy to find and get to. I just had a few issues about the curriculum. He taught a few things about soap making that wasn’t true. Thankfully I took a few classes prior or else I wouldn’t have been able to point it out. He never touched the packet he passed out only to look at the recipes given. He never spoke on safety while working with “lye” which is a big no no.

The instructor was very knowledgeable and provided extra informational material which made the class well worth it. Can’t wait to see what my next class will be.

The instructor, Abdul was informative and enthusiastic! The class and instructor are really 5 star. It is CourseHorse that needs to get more organized. Saturday of the class, I had a confirmation and another 2 days prior. They never gave us the room number at a COLLEGE. They also don't respond to phone calls or emails for 12-24 hours. "They respond during regular business hours", sorry as a business owner you are working as your classes are being held, unless you have actually done your job thoroughly without errors. There were 12 students wondering El Camino College. Most were late to class due to the lack of communication and follow through. Was not impressed! It will make me reconsider taking a class with them again. I drove 1.5 hrs for this class to have a ridiculously difficult time finding the classroom. By the way, this instructor teaches this class regularly at the same location and in the same classroom. CourseHorse had the info and missed both opportunities to communicate it to its students. $69 for the class + $30 for materials + 1.5 hrs. An investment. Please respect that. Kim Rosen, DDS
