Teaches at General Assembly

Josh Kushner
Josh started his career in tech working as a Project Manager/UX designer for AzulArc, a web development company in Atlanta. Josh worked there for two years before looking to become a web developer himself.

He took the Web Development Immersive course at General Assembly and became a full stack developer. Josh worked at Ticket Alternative for the last two years where he mostly focused on Ruby on Rails and Javascript.

After his stint at Ticket Alternative, Josh returned to General Assembly to teach the course he finished a few years prior. He is currently an instructor for the WDI program at General Assembly.

Daniel Pino
Daniel has spent his career in both IT Consulting and as an Industry developer. He has worked in a variety of industries from Asset Management to Automotive Manufacturing to Financial Services, and he has filled a wide list of roles from Scrum Master to Analyst to Developer.

Daniel’s work-time passions largly relate to business process improvement, but his hobby-time passions are theater based. He has worked in theaters all around Atlanta and hopes to continue acting long into the future! He graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Management Information Systems.

Blake Pitts
Blake worked at CNN for 2 years as a Wellness Coordinator where he did personal training and taught group fitness classes. After teaching himself HTML and CSS, he decided to pursue a career in coding by joining the Web Immersive class at General Assembly. Since then, he's been passionate about code and likes to stay up to date with the latest tech trends.

In his free time, Blake enjoys mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing and attending meetUps. He graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelors in Exercise and Health Science.

Ayana Reddick
Born and raised in Atlanta, Ayana is a full-stack developer living in Decatur, Ga with her husband and 2 amazing kids. She was introduced to tech as a sophomore in college, changing her major after a friend convinced her she would love engineering. Not really knowing what an engineer was, she took a few classes and realized that her friend was right. Tech was her jam. She fell in love with engineering.

After having her children and wanting the best for them, she went on a quest to live as healthy, authentic, and vibrant as possible. She discovered energy healing (she is a Reiki practitioner), meditation, journaling, herbal remedies, art, and Tarot. These things were so life-changing for her, she wanted to bring them to more people.

Then she found General Assembly. After attending General Assembly’s Web Development Immersive Bootcamp, she was able to connect the dots to make apps. Ayana is currently OBSESSED with development that helps people live healthier, more vibrant, and authentic lives. Her favorite full-stack apps include a Tarot card app (the app gives users a *reading*!) and a habit tracker - to allow users to see what habits affect their mood.
