Julie has a strong background in movement and dance: she was a gymnast until age 18, a performance and competition dancer throughout high school and college, and has been a practitioner of various types of yoga for the past 10 years.
After completing her BollyX certification in October 2017, she discovered the fulfillment that she got from bringing her love of movement to others.
Julie's goal is to help students connect to their own bodies through movement. In her classes, she encourages students to listen to and respond to their body’s needs and find enjoyment and appreciation in what they accomplish in each class. Her hope is that students leave any class with her feeling a greater sense of connection to themselves and others, gratitude for their own abilities, and assurance in their unique strengths.
