Denise Dittmar

Teaches at Yellow Barn Studio

Denise has been teaching art at classes and camps for four years at Glen Echo. Long involved with design and art education, she now focuses on children’s art at the Crystal Pool Studio and a teen drawing and painting class through the Yellow Barn. Adult and children’s classes include collage, drawing and painting, block printmaking, and 3D constructions. In addition, Denise also works at Little Echoes and Playgroup in the Park.  She has a MA in Humanities, Aesthetics from UTexas, Dallas and MLA from U.Penn.  She taught HS art for eleven years in Texas.
