What you'll learn in this photography class:

Sunset & Timelapse Neutral Density Photography in Georgetown

We are going to learn how to make a timelapse or hyperlapse with our cameras during a sunset at Georgetown Waterfront. Timelapses or hyperlapses are sequences of images that together create a video.

During the 2 hours that we will be there, we will also be able to take beautiful images of the sunset using a polarized (PL) or a neutral density (ND) filter.

This is a great opportunity to learn and practice the techniques of photography using filters. A polarized or neutral density (ND) filter is the perfect tool for creating amazing long exposure images by day or by night.

What to bring to this workshop?

  • 2 tripods: one for the camera and one for the phone. Plus a phone holder for one of the tripod mounts.
  • Filters: Polarizing (PL) filter and one Neutral Density (ND) filter – ND8 or ND10 strength/darkness.

For this unique workshop, we suggest you bring:

  • Camera
  • Lenses
  • Extra memory cards
  • Extra charged battery
  • Polarizing, Neutral Density filters, remote release
  • Tripod(s)
