Matt Cahill

Matt Cahill pursues singing-acting at the highest level. Highlights of his performance career include starring as Papageno in the international tour of Peter Brook’s Molière Award-winning adaptation of Mozart’s Magic Flute, Une Flûte Enchantée, performing with the New York City Opera and London Symphony Orchestra, singing as a soloist at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center, dancing in the major motion picture The Producers!, and appearing as a co-star in Law & Order SVU. Highlights of his teaching career include acting as lead faculty of Juilliard’s High School summer voice program, teaching Alexander Technique to singers from the Metropolitan Opera’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, directing the young artist program at SongFest at Colburn, and teaching and directing the opera workshops at both Brooklyn College Conservatory and Montclair State University. Most recently, Matt has co-founded Hogfish, a performing arts and artist training company in Portland, ME and New York, NY dedicated to regenerative theater: making the world a better place through the stories we tell, how we engage with our community, and how we train the next generation of artists. Audrey Luna

Audrey Luna is grateful to have a career singing, teaching voice and Alexander Technique. She currently teaches at Miami University, has taught Alexander Technique, Voice and Vocal Chamber Music on faculty at SongFest, Salzburg Chamber Music Festival, The Grandin Festival, The Schmidt Institute, Savannah Choral/Vocal Institute and given masterclasses across the US, Canada and Europe. She has mentored her students to win competitions and hold young artist positions such as: The Metropolitan Opera National Council Awards, New York Oratorio Society, NATSAA Competitions, Santa Fe Opera, Glimmerglass Opera, Ravinia Festival, Chanticleer, as well as singing in opera houses nationally and internationally. Since her Amsat certification in 2013, she has been teaching AT workshops, classes and private lessons largely focusing on singing and vocal function. Ms. Luna has performed in prominent venues such as Salzburger Festspiel, Schleswig-Holstein Festival, the Ludwigsburg Schloss Festival, Mettlach Chamber Music Festival, Lucerne Festival, Jerusalem Festival, Shanghai International Spring Festival, Lexington Bach Festival, Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival and the Konzerthaus Wien, Berlin Philharmonie, Wigmore Hall, Queens Hall, Bach Akademie, the Louvre, St. John the Divine and The Kennedy Center. Ms. Luna’s career began in Germany singing dozens of opera roles as a fest soloist in Bremen and as a guest soloist throughout Germany. Critics claim that she is, “musically and theatrically first class...with technical sovereignty, she laid before us so much warmth, expression, and sensitivity that it was pure joy.” Ms. Luna can be heard on the Bonneville Classics, Oehms Classics, and arsmoderna labels.

Ann Rodiger

Ann Rodiger is the founder and director of the Balance Arts Center and the Balance Arts Center Teacher Training Course. She has been teaching the Alexander Technique and movement for over 30 years in academic and private settings. She is skilled in Labanotation, Laban Movement Analysis, Bartenieff Fundamentals, Yoga, meditation, and various dance techniques. She maintains private practices in New York City, Berlin and Antwerp. She is the creator and producer of the Freedom to Move, Freedom to Play and co-creator of the Freedom to Act conferences. She has recently published a book, "How To Sit: Your Body at Work". She has taught at summer vocal workshops in Berlin, Antwerp (Belgium), Tel Aviv, and Orlando. She is a member of the American Society of the Alexander Technique and served on the Board of Directors for 4 years. She is a regular presenter at AmSAT annual conferences and serves on several committees of the Society. Ann holds a Certification from the Urbana Center in the AT approved by the American Society of Alexander Technique. She also holds a Masters Degree in Dance and Movement Analysis from The Ohio State University and a Bachelors Degree with Honors from the University of Oregon.
