Elizabeth Gilbert & Amy Stewart

Elizabeth Gilbert is the acclaimed author of five books of fiction and nonfiction including her newest bestseller, The Signature of All Things, a sprawling tale of 19th century botanical exploration. Her 2006 memoir, Eat, Pray, Love, was a #1 New York Times bestseller; it has been published in more than thirty languages and has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide, and was made into a major motion picture starring Julia Roberts. Gilbert's debut novel Stern Men was a New York Times Notable Book; her short story collection, Pilgrims, was a finalist for the PEN/Hemingway Award; and her 2010 work, Committed - a memoir of marriage - was a # 1 New York Times bestseller. In 2008, Time magazine named Gilbert one of the most influential people in the world.

Amy Stewart is the award-winning author of six books on the perils and pleasures of the natural world, including Wicked Bugs, Wicked Plants, and her most recent New York Times bestseller, The Drunken Botanist, about the plants that create the world's great drinks. She lives in Eureka, California, with her husband Scott Brown. They own an antiquarian bookstore called Eureka Books and tend a flock of unruly hens in their backyard. Her next book, Girl Waits With Gun (2015, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt) is a novel based on a true story. Stewart has written for the New York Times, the Washington Post, and is the co-founder of the popular blog GardenRant.
