In this hands on class, you will learn how to use all of the new subtractive manufacturing extension tools in Fusion 360. We will cover, in depth, how to use Hole Recognition to program holes quicker and more consistently from part to part, at any orientation. Then you will learn how to use Probe Geometry, for in-process inspection and re-machining features to hit tolerances, and probe Surface Inspection, for probing organic shapes to capture machining results for comparison to the original model. Finally, you will learn how to use the new Steep and Shallow strategy to improve surface finish on your 3D surfaces quickly and efficiently.
Prerequisite: FSN-001, FSN-002, FSN-101, FSN-102, FSN-303, FSN-304
