While the teacher seemed knowledgeable, and was a pleasant person, he did a poor job of transmitting the material to the class. This was mostly because he allowed himself to be diverted from the lesson plan by irrelevant questions and comments from one particular student.

Question from Anonymous
Can you give me a recommendation on a good basic keyboard? I have a piano at home.

Casio has a good basic keyboard: the CTK-2500.

Hi there! It really depends on your budget, but if you are just starting out, try not to spend more than $60. Just make sure the keys are full sized and not "kid-sized" or "mini keys". You don't need to have all 88 keys, so if you get one with like 61 keys that would suffice. The school doesn't recommend spending too much right off the bat, so if you can get a second-hand one that would be great. Hope this helps!
