What you'll learn in this basic italian class:
In this course you will be able to introduce yourself in Italian, including greetings, describe your friends and family, hobbies, directions, and time. You will be able to read, write, and pronounce in Italian. You will also be able to talk about your likes and dislikes when it comes to food.
A free 10 minute consultation is scheduled to assess the needs of the client and to provide feedback. Any future sessions will be billed according to the study package purchased. Each session consists of one hour.
Please bring:
- A notebook
- A tape recorder (if you want to record your voice to review your accent in the target language). If you do not have one you can use your cell phone to record your voice
- Pen/pencil
Important Scheduling Notes:
- Scheduling for private lessons is flexible and subject to the instructor's availability.
- In the rare event the instructor is unavailable during the booked date and time, the instructor will reach out and reschedule you based on your availability. You also have an option for an immediate refund.
- Price is for one person for a 1 hour class. Choose the class time/s convenient for you, whether Morning, Afternoon, or Evening between 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Discounted packages of 5 ($300), 10 ($600), or 15 ($900) one hour sessions are available for purchase. Please reach out to [email protected] for details.
- Once a date and time is decided on, the class provider's standard cancellation policy applies.
Remote Learning
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

I really enjoyed my session with Eva. I'd been a little concerned that an hour would be a long time, since I'm not a fluent speaker of Italian. But the time actually went by quickly. She gauged my skill level well and carried the conversation by asking me questions about my travels, family, work, etc. Eva also created a Google PowerPoint document for me that she used to add phrases I needed some help with-- so a good reference for later.
