System Requirements:

You will need a reliable Internet connection as well as a computer or device with which you can access your virtual class. We recommend you arrive to class 5-10 minutes early to ensure you're able to set up your device and connection.

Class Delivery:

This class will be held via Zoom unless otherwise specified.

What you'll learn in this kids art class:

This beginner course in digital art + illustration will set teens up with a basic introduction to this exciting media. Digital Art know how is a valuable skill for teens who are thinking about a career in the visual arts or business!

Learn how to create images using your own drawings and set them on a digital art canvas. Get acquainted with the software and learn the techniques and how to create details, mood, and backgrounds and manipulate images using digital tools under the tuition of a professional digital artist. Each week we will research backgrounds and styles, and share a new technique.

We will use the Procreate App to work from in this class. This is an awesome beginners class for those who are new to the medium of digital Art and want to learn how to use these valuable tools . By the end of this course you will be motivated to make your own digital art images using paintings or your own artwork, sketches or photographs. For those students who have taken a procreate class before, you will be accommodated for.

Important Class Requirements:

Please have use a Procreate + IPAD 6 with stylus or similar tablet for class
Please download prior to arrival the Procreate App ($9.99)

TO JOIN YOUR ONLINE CLASS:

Please DOWNLOAD the FREE Zoom App + select the blue button that says "Zoom Client for Meetings". Make sure you download the App on the same device you are going to use for the class. (If you sign up for the App on your phone, it wont work on your Laptop etc).
Once we receive your booking you will receive a LINK TO JOIN your class. We suggest preparing for class 5-10 minutes early to ensure you're able to set up your device properly & check your connection. Please note prior registration is required, if you sign up last minute there might not be time to process your registration in time, we advise signing up in advance.
All classes start & end as advertised.

We will lock all meetings 15 minutes after start time, if you have not joined by that time, you will not be able to enter the class and will not be eligible to reschedule your class. We are sorry but we have to be strict about this. Because of the nature of online teaching, late students totally disrupt the whole class flow & experience for others.

Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Health + Safety Updates:

The wearing of Masks + face coverings are now optional for all staff + students for all classes and events.
Those who prefer to wear a face covering in class are encouraged to do so. *Therefore please do not assume that those wearing a mask are unvaccinated.
Students + staff, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask when:

Returning to CWAS on the sixth day after testing positive for COVID-19, through day 10 after symptom onset or date of positive test, whichever is earlier.
Exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.

Students + staff, regardless of vaccination status, are strongly recommended to wear a mask:

When they were exposed to someone with COVID-19, whether the exposure occurred in the studio or outside the studio. The person should wear a mask for 10 days after their last day of exposure and get tested at least 24 hours apart on day 4 and day 5 of their exposure.
When they are moderately to severely immunocompromised and masking is recommended by their healthcare provider.

We will continue to ask students NOT to attend our programs when exhibiting any symptoms of illnesses that would be contagious.

Health + Safety Practices:

We continue to ask anyone attending our programs and events to follow best practices when it comes to general health + safety protocols.
Pick-up + drop-off personnel must remain outside the studio to help reduce traffic at our studio + keep everyone safe! If you have anyone picking you up please let them know to collect you outside the studio.
Thorough cleaning and sanitizing protocols will remain in effect throughout our studio.
We continue to ask students to follow good hygiene habits, including the use of hand sanitizer. Hand-sanitizing stations will remain throughout our studio.
We encourage all students to wash their hands upon entry to the studio and to use hand sanitizer.
We continue to ask students to be respectful + kind to each other at all times.

Refund Policy

Cancellation + Rescheduling Policy for In-Person Classes:

We do NOT offer any refunds at Creatively Wild Art Studio after registration.

If you have booked a full course with us, If you need to reschedule a class, you can purchase a rescheduling Ticket: https://www.creativelywildartstudio.com/rescheduling-requests
$25 per rescheduled class/ per person. You can reschedule a single class within 24 hours of the class start time.

If you booked only a single-day class, you can also reschedule only if your request/ ticket is booked more than 24 hours ahead of your class start time.

If you submit a ticket within 24 hours of your class start time, your request will NOT be accommodated.

Please view schedules on our website according to your age group and pick the class and date you are switching to. If the class is not running or for some reason, the class is NOT available, you will be contacted via email and offered an alternative date.

Rescheduling Tickets are NOT VALID on Online Classes, Toddler Classes, Private Classes or Party events ( see our studio policies for these policies)

Rescheduling tickets received last minute, within the 24 hours time frame, or after the class has taken place are invalid and you will not be entitled to a refund, credit, or any rescheduling.
Rescheduling tickets are valid for all regular group classes held live in our studio for Adults, Kids, or Teens
Rescheduling Tickets are NOT VALID for Toddler Classes, Private Lessons, Online Classes , Camps, Parties or any other events at Creatively Wild.

To Reschedule a FULL COURSE

Please contact us via EMAIL to request. As per our studio policies, NO refunds are offered after registration.
In the case of a FULL CLASS COURSE cancellation after registration, there is a rescheduling fee of $ 75 and a credit will be issued for the amount less this fee.
Credits must be used within 6 months of issue and will NOT BE VALID after this time.
