This class is part science, part nutrition, and 100% art. Make bright, beautiful Easter eggs without chemical-filled plastic bottles of food coloring! Chefs and artists of all ages have been creating natural dyes from plants like turmeric, beets, spinach and hibiscus for years. In this class you will use those techniques, as well as some other creative hacks, to dye colorful, edible Easter eggs pink, pale yellow, blue, purple, and green. Since the dyed eggs are totally edible, you can even turn some into rainbow-hued deviled eggs, and display the rest! You'll also learn tips for applying the concepts of natural dyes to other foods like pasta and baked goods.
