This class will be held via Zoom unless otherwise specified.
In this series of five workshops we will explore the work of women using clay in the 20th and 21st centuries. The first class, held on Zoom, will include a lecture and slideshow of pieces made by a variety of ceramic artists who identify as women.
The next four classes, held in person, will focus on hands-on practicing of techniques used by several of the artists, including wheel throwing, handbuilding and surface design. Prior clay experience recommended.

Experience Level: Intermediate & Advanced
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
