Teacher: Lois Greenfield

What you'll learn in this photography class:

In this webinar Lois Greenfield will discuss her unique method for photographing dancers, and how she catches moments beneath the threshold of perception, revealing what the human eye can’t see. Rather than relying on choreographed poses, Lois asks the dancers to improvise for her camera. In her photographs, time is stopped, a split second becomes an eternity, and an ephemeral moment as solid as sculpture. She looks for the poetics of a visual language rather than in its literalness.

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
