Elise Bauer Clark, MSEd, is the Admissions Director and former Director of the Lower School at City & Country School, a progressive independent school for two-year-olds up through Grade 8 in New York City's West Village. City & Country was founded in 1914 by pioneer educator Caroline Pratt, who also invented unit blocks. Ms. Clark has an MSEd from Bank Street College and a BA in American Civilization from George Washington University.
