Nicholas Storrs
Nick Storrs, Urban Farm Manager at the Randall's Island Urban Farm, grew up on a small subsistence farm in New Hampshire. After receiving a B.A. from McGill University he worked in Brazil and Bolivia growing vegetables and coffee, and later apprenticed at the Last Resort Farm in northern Vermont, producing vegetables for local markets and grocery stores. 

Since moving to New York City he has worked as a gardener for the Central Park Conservancy and obtained a Certificate of Horticulture from the New York Botanical Gardens. He is a contributor to the Five Borough Farm Project, an initiative of the Design Trust for Public Space, as well as to research conducted by the Northeast Rice Association in conjunction with Cornell University. 

Currently, he leads the Randall's Island Park Alliance's edible education initiative, provides consultation to GrowNYC's School Mini-Grant Program, and participates in the Slow Tools Initiative, imparting his passion for healthy food to NYC students while encouraging them to take an active part in their own landscape and health.

Xenia D'Ambrosi

Xenia D'Ambrosi has a passion for sustainable gardening and agriculture. Her company, Sweet Earth Co., specializes in sustainable gardens and natural landscapes, as well as agricultural and farm management. Sweet Earth also offers a local flower and herb CSA, and a line of specialty herbal teas. 

Xena earned a Master's in Public Health and an MBA from Columbia University, as well as a Certificate in Gardening and Sustainable Practices from The New York Botanical Garden.

Graham Glauber

Graham Glauber is a self-proclaimed plant geek with a passion for the outdoors. Born and raised in the Hudson Valley, he has worked in many areas of the green industries, including retail nursery sales, landscape design and construction, and estate horticulture. He received his B.S. in Sustainable Landscape Horticulture from the University of Vermont. Currently, he serves as the property manager overseeing all horticulture operations at AP Farm in Cross River, New York. 

He also owns his own landscape design and construction company, Guard Hill Landscapes, based out of Bedford, New York.
