Patricia J. Wynne, an artist and freelance illustrator, works for research scientists around the world. She has illustrated over 170 books for both adults and children, and in 2008 received a Theodore Seuss Geisel Honor for Hello, Bumblebee Bat, authored by Darrin Lunde.
