  The teacher was great--I learned so much. The Open Center was not the best for a painting class. They were unprepared for the number of students, didn't have water or sink in the room so we had to keep walking to the bathroom to swap out painting water, and they had this weird mirror setup instead of just an easel for the artist. They literally did not have an easel in the building. For an art class! When each issue was brought up, the Open Center staff was really uncaring about it, basically just standing there while students figured it out--weird!! Would definitely do a class with this teacher again, but probably not at Open Center.

  There were too many people in the class and the teacher was late, so little to no instruction. Wrong class for me since I was the only beginner in the group. everyone else was quite advanced. The teacher was very nice( i learned he is well known) however, i needed to learn how to hold the brush. There should be some classification when these courses are offered. Ie. beginner, intermediate, advanced.
