What you'll learn in this bls class:
This American Heart Association course teaches high-quality Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for adults, children, and infants, along with the Chain of Survival. The important early use of an AED and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants is emphasized. HeartCode BLS is the foundation for saving lives after cardiac arrest. HeartCode BLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the BLS for Healthcare Professionals (CPR/AED) course. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning (online portion), in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on session.
Prerequisite: Students must purchase and complete the online portion of the BLS class and submit the completed certificate to Meghan Williams 3 days prior to the class.

School Notes: Please don't forget to bring a valid ID. Students registering on or after the first day of class shall be assessed a non-refundable late registration fee of $10.00.

Refund Policy
Tuition refunds are calculated in accordance with the Tuition Refund Policy for those students who officially drop a class or classes during the first three weeks of the semester. Fees are not refundable.
- Drops prior to the first day of the semester: 95% Tuition Refund
- Drops during the first calendar week of the semester: 75% Tuition Refund
- Drops during the second calendar week of the semester: 50% Tuition Refund
- Drops during the third calendar week of the semester: 25% Tuition Refund
- No refund after the third calendar week of the semester.
