Discover how to turn a space that is less than optimal into an inviting oasis. This course provides students with a practical method to assess and improve an existing interior by applying a new color palette. Learn why and how specific colors can affect an environment and create a desired mood.
The relationship between light and color will be addressed. Students work in class to develop a transformative color solution using a “before and after” approach with NYSID supplied images and swatches.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Fees are nontransferable. Registration and technology fees (applied to creditbearing courses) are nonrefundable, and a drop fee applies to dropped credit‐bearing courses resulting in a refund.
Refunds must be requested at least ONE FULL WEEK PRIOR TO THE FIRST SESSION or no refund is permissible.

Online learning students will participate in active discussions with their fellow students and the instructor. Online learning students will need access to a computer (with audio capability such as speakers or headphones), scanner, and digital camera. Student projects are assembled in either PowerPoint (Windows operating system) or Keynote (Mac operating system) format.
