First time taking an improv class? You’re in the right place.
This class will introduce new improvisers to the value of saying “Yes, And” to every idea - especially their own - to become joyful, fearless, and bold performers. Through games and exercises, this class will teach students the essentials of successful scenic improvisation -- to react emotionally and honestly, to trust your gut, to support scene partners and embrace taking risks.
Whether you want to be a performer or just try out an improv class and meet new people, this class will boost your confidence and creativity in a safe, supportive environment at Brooklyn’s top comedy theater and school.
Class Show: TBD after final class at live venue.
Class payments are non-refundable.
In the event you have to drop a class before it begins and give us at least 8 business days notice, we can credit your tuition toward a future class.
In the event a class fails to meet a minimum number of sign-ups (6 enrollments), students will be notified by email and given the option to transfer into another class, keep a class credit on the books, or offered a full refund - whichever is preferable to the student.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
