What you'll learn in this basic french class:

If you've never learned French before, this is your spot. In this course, you will learn the basics of communication: introducing yourself, talking about who you are and what you do, and asking questions to get by in a French-speaking region. Understanding is a priority, but we also make room for fun moments of cultural discovery. In this course, you will become familiar with your first idioms and start working on your pronunciation. Have no fear: your instructor will ensure that you move forward with confidence. Get ready to tame the language and get started!

What You’ll Learn:

By the end of this course, you will have a handle on “être” (to be) and “avoir” (to have), essential verbs, negation, question and answer phrasing, an introduction to the future tense plus simple introductions and personal descriptions. Example: “Hi my name’s Stella. I live in Brooklyn and I like bagels. I have a small dog and I play the piano.”
