Question from Seema S.
Hello! Can the menu be made eggless? My boyfriend is not religious, he just does not eat eggs
Answer from Brenda L. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi Seema! The eggplant recipe requires egg wash for the breadcrumb coating and unfortunately, the school is unable to substitute them. Thanks.
Question from Nicole A.
My boyfriend is allergic to eggplant, can he use squash instead?
Answer from Brenda L. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi Nicole! While Taste Buds Kitchen try their very best to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions, they are unable to do so for the public classes as they can't guarantee that ingredients and tools will not cross-contaminate. They are also unable to accept ingredients from clients as they've never tested them and want to ensure the integrity and the quality of the recipes. Hope this helps!
Question from Anonymous
Hello! Is this class vegetarian? Looking to give as a gift. It popped up when I searched for “vegetarian cooking class” but I don’t see anything about that on this page. Thanks!
Answer from Georgia C. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi there! Yes, this class is vegetarian.
Question from Drita
Would like to give a good class to my family as a gift. All are adults except for one who is a very mature 16 year old. Anything I find as a good meal to learn from, all require adults only. Any suggestions?
Answer from Brenda L. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi there! Most of the BYOB classes require students to be at least 18 years old and above to attend the class, the same goes for this class.
Question from anonymous
I would like to give this class as a gift. Are there many people that attend by themselves?
Answer from Brenda L. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi there! There are a few people who sign up without a companion, but most of the students come in pairs or in a group.
Question from Beth R.
My only concern is if it snows. Would that be a legitimate last minute refund or to reschedule class. We don't live in the city.
Answer from Brenda L. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi, Beth! On rare occasions, Taste Buds Kitchen will have to reschedule or cancel an event. In these situations, you will be contacted along with a full refund or store credit. Hope this helps!
Question from Karen
Is it refunded if cancelled
Answer from Georgia C. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi Karen! If the school will cancel the class, yes, you are free to request a refund or reschedule your class.
Question from Karen
You cook with the instructor and then eat the food there?
Answer from Georgia C. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi Karen! All the school classes are hands-on cooking classes where the students prepare all the recipes from scratch and enjoy them at the end. There will be a Chef Instructor leading the class and demonstrating cooking techniques.

It was a fun class but felt a tad rushed. The cannolis were the best I ever tasted and the mushroom risotto was like it was from heaven but the baked eggplant parmigiana was okay not amazing. We did have a good time and left with a few new, wonderful recipes!

This class was great. I went with a friend and we got paired with a couple to make our dishes. The chef/teacher was great and patient with the class. Very fun experience and I would recommend it for people looking for a different activity at night!
