Description
What you'll learn in this anatomy drawing class:
Gain an understanding of how to apply structural and anatomical concepts to your figurative work.
With an emphasis on gesture, proportion, perspective, and morphology, we will create a number of works from the observed nude life model. Anatomical figure construction throughout history will be discussed, as well as the contemporary practice of anatomical form as function, with an aim towards understanding how the human figure moves and articulates.

- Week 1 - Proportion Concepts
- Week 2 - The Ribcage
- Week 3 - The Pelvic Mass
- Week 4- The Skull
- Week 5 - The Skeletal Arm and Shoulder
- Week 6 - The Skeletal Leg
- Week 7 - Midsection Muscles
- Week 8 - Shoulder Muscles (Day 1)
- Week 9 - Shoulder Muscles (Day 2)
- Week 10 - Arm Muscles
- Week 11 - Leg Muscles

MAKE-UP POLICY
Unfortunately, we do not offer makeup classes. The instructor can tell them what they missed. Most of our classes are taught atelier style. If there is a demonstration during the particular session, after the demonstration the instructor goes to each student to work with them on a one-to-one basis. During this time the instructor can work with the student who missed the previous week, talk with them and explain what to do.
